Product Setup:
- Lay your SunFly over the area you wish to cover. Stake out each corner approximately. 4'-5' (1.2-1.5m). Ensure each stake is fully inserted at an angle for optimum anchoring strength.
- Extend the first adjustable pole to your desired height and hand-tighten each pole section to lock in place. Insert the pole cap into one of the two stretch pockets located on the bottom corners of the shade. Tighten the adjustment cord as needed so the pole is stable.
- Insert the other pole at the opposite end (B) and repeat step 2 from above. Slightly angle the feet of each pole inward for optimal stability. Ensure the peak of the shade between poles A and B is fully tightened before tightening the remaining corners (C + D). Go around the shade adjusting each corner until your SunFly is properly tensioned like the image above.
- Pro Tip 1: On windy days, face the front of the SunFly in the direction of the wind. Lower the height of the rear pole or remove rear pole completely to improve stability.
- Pro Tip 2: Loop the optional ridgeline hooks located on the stretch pocket corners around two trees or other anchor points for quick shade or shelter over your hammock or to create a more open shelter at camp.
Product Care:
- Extend the lifetime of your shade by storing in a cool dry place when not in use. Storing your shade in hot temperatures for long periods of time can damage material coatings. Always make sure your shade is dry before storing to prevent mildew growth.
- For light cleaning, use a sponge and warm water (not hot) and allow fabric to air dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry. For more thorough cleaning, apply a waterproof gear specific wash and gently work into fabric with sponge. Rinse thoroughly and hang to dry.
- Do not leave outside permanently. Extensive UV and elemental exposure will damage the shade and cause discoloration.
- Keep away from open flames/embers. Components may be flammable.
In the summer of 1999, Eagles Nest Outfitters was founded as a result of a big dream, hard work, and a passion for adventure and travel.
ENO began as a small operation in Florida with a big plan to travel the East Coast in a ramshackle minivan and sell hammocks at music festivals and community gatherings along the way. In the early years, home was wherever the van was parked that night. Being on the road and sharing a passion for hammocking through first hand encounters, fueled a dedication to make and sell the most comfortable hammocks in the world.
Inspired from years of travelling, the founders started the product line with a packable, travel-ready hammock. They soon realized that the best way to get people in hammocks was to design an easy to use strap that eliminated the need for knots. They designed and patented the first knotless hammock suspension systems, and with that revolutionized hammocking and cultivated the growing hammock culture.
ENO continues to grow and thrive in Asheville, NC and is not only committed to the design of innovative products, but also to being invested members of the local and global community by supporting organizations that are preserving and protecting our public lands. As a 1% for the Planet member, ENO commits to giving 1% of their annual sales to support nonprofit organizations focused on the environment, and through a partnership with Trees for the Future ENO plants 2 trees for every hammock sold.
