I purchased this hat because my daughter had purchased one for herself and another for her son. I tried my daughter's, and it fit me well--which is unusual for hats, since I have a large, oblong head. Most hats put a lot of pressure on my forehead, sometimes giving me a headache. I've now worn my own hat (not my daughter's) for hours at a time. The hat has remained comfortable for the entire stretch.

I also like the fact that the hat provides good, all-around sun protection. And I like the fact that it's bright, making it easy for hunters to distinguish between me and deer (I do a lot of hiking in New Hampshire woods).
